Hello there!

I’m Rohan, a black & white photographer based in the Netherlands, with an unhealthy obsession for vintage lenses. I focus mainly on headshots & portraits with an occasional fashion shoot in between. For my own work it is safe to say that I like to photograph women an sich. Retouching I do naturally, to keep it real and nothing beats natural light!

Photographing women to me is:

To portray a feeling, photograph an emotion, or capture their authentic self, is far more interesting than a fancy edit, a fully retouched face or bright colours.

A sailor’s life:

Besides that I also work as a Second Officer onboard a containership. So if you don’t hear from me for some time, I might be somewhere at sea. Don’t worry, I’m not gone for a long time, as my schedule is normally 6 weeks on/6 weeks off (sometimes a week more or a week less). You can always contact me by e-mail.
